Art the distraction.

I was skeptical about going to school for art. For years I’ve wanted too, it’s been a dream since working on my first BA. Art was the distraction. Assignments would be turned in late as fuck or at the very last minute because I was side tracked working on a wire sculpture of some type. Now I’m in art school, getting paid to study by ole Uncle Sam. And once again I find myself distracted, submitting assignments late as fuck, all because I want to be working on some side art project I find way more exciting. Art has always been the distraction, even when it should be the focus. (Featured - 1 large scale wall mounted piece I’m trying to get done before my upcoming studio tour… another distraction).
