Scrappy is a chimp-inspired sculptural totem with big dreams and even less supervision. He served as the unofficial mascot of a Mobile Smoke Shop I ran with my brothers in Austin, TX—perched in a metal display box, holding it down like he owned the place.
Think Chappie with a welding mask and a little too much confidence, crossed with Scrappy Coco from Zohan—eccentric, ambitious, and completely convinced he was born to cut hair. No one gave him scissors, but that never stopped him from believing.
This piece is a nod to oddball ambition, DIY hustle, and the kinds of characters that show up when you mix brotherhood, smoke, and just the right amount of delusion.
Constructed of galvanized steel wire, aluminum sheet metal, repurposed materials.
