This piece came out of that headspace. It’s a reflection of quiet mornings, of finding a kind of balance in the mess. It’s not polished, but it’s solid. Centered.
It also nods to someone I once worked for in college—a boss who felt more like a second mom. Sharp, wild, full of life. Her house was packed with art and artifacts from everywhere she’d been. I remember house-sitting for her, imagining the day I’d build something like that for myself—a life with stories behind every piece.
